Default tranny problem

my tranny is getting really noisy (especially in 1st). it doenst grind but it does slip a little bit (even with a new act clutch in there) what could the problem be? im thinking that it might just need a flush and a new filter but what could be the worst case scenerio?

syncro is worst case.... most likely just low on fluid or possibly a clutch related problem.... but if worst comes to worst, a tranny wont break you too much
