I've got a stock B18A motor and I'd like to turbo it in the near-distant future.
Q 1. Would it be cheaper to build a kit or purchase a kit?
Q 2. I would like to get ~190-200 HP at first, then build the block, upgrade turbo parts, ect to run ~260-275 HP. Does this sound reasonable?
Q 3. With running ~190-200 HP, what kind of mods would I have to have done to managment? I relize a injector and fuel pump would be a smart upgrade, but am not sure of anything else.
If I'm missing something, please, let me know.

This is a pretty wide question.............but if u want to go boost quick and cheap the best thing to do in my opinion is do the homemade kit which is when u buy it piece by piece basically....a nice sized T25 should do u justice......its not crazy to turbo a car on stock internals......when u do get each piece in order and installed. Keep it at low boost which is around 6-8 pounds....and the more parts u get for lower compression....the more boost you can run.....therefore i suggest if u have the money like that to rebuild the engine first........with low compression pistons and after rods and cams and fuel management (vortech FMU) and watch your car fly and fly the right way.......if u want str8 up rice and to be able to beat mustang GT's I suggest just doin the homemade kit and putting a huge Greddy type-s BOV on there to let everyone that ur runnin slowboost.........-Nick

Get a T3/T4, i don't know what the right size for the LS would be. Have your mani flanged for the turbo, buy an innercooler, have custom IC piping made, get some DSM injectors, or some RCs, get Hondata, a 3" exhaust, boost the shit out of it and call it a day. Fuck the T25.

It's not cheap when he wants to make power and he has to by a bigger turbo. You dont want to buy things twice. Get a t3/t4 it will make 200whp on 5lbs. T25 is for honda lawn mowers not honda cars.
