check with a machine shop. they can hone it out and see where it leaves you.

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.

if that is the very bottom (I can't see it too well), just smooth out the edges so nothing is sticking into the cylinder bore and put small radius's on the sharp edges. You will be fine. On d-series motors with aftermarket rods you need to notch the cylinder walls already.
