3rd gear grind in tranny..............
It grinds like a bitch in 3rd at anything over 50 mph......I hope its not whut I think it is........Can someone tell me whut I dont wanna hear. And that is that my tranny is gone and that I need a new one

You dont need a new one. Just open it up, check it out. Order a new 3rd sync if that is the case and put it back in. Inspection is the key.

Oh so its just the synchros????? nuthin else?? Well then I guess I wont be needing that new tranny then huh???? sounds good to me........lol how much should it cost to get all of them replaced???

research for a thread for a tranny fluid by ?GM? that seems to knock out the synchro grind.
my 5th is bad in the rex unless i place it just right. my 2nd was bad while in the rex but now in the hatch bcuz of the very tight gear ratio, no grinds what so ever.
also if you decide to replace the synchro i can put you in touch with George out in Orlando who knows how to do this work and may do it for you. He may be at Sunday's meet with one of his rex's.
