Default idle air control valve

i had a code 14 for my 94 gsr. so i got a used idle air control valve from a working 97 gsr. the car is running good compare to when i had my old one one. but the check light is still on. anybody has an idea on why its still on?

The iac might be bad. I went through 4 iac's before I just swallowed my pride and bought a new one. That is what sucks about them, no way to tell unless you install it. Also clean the little screens with choke cleaner. Just a thought.

HMM lets think 94 and 97 OBDI and OBDII there are subtle sesor differences sometimes and IAC's are a bitch ! if they arnt new i wouldnt bother with a used one !
