car wont start, and ive about given up.
unhook the battery, check it at an automotive parts store, and try a new one. my car wouldnt start for the longest time and i just tried a new battery and it started. i think it resets the electronics when u pull it off.
are you sure that the injectors that you got are the right ohm resistance for the distributor. when i did a swap i had ls injectors with a b16 distributor and one was i think 12 ohm and the other was i think 3 i dont remember which was which though sorry i couldn't be more help.

and rdline, ive had it on a batery charger almost the whole time ive been trying to crank it, on the 2 volt setting just so it doesnt die. and i had the starter tested also.
timing and ignition only problems it could be. Timing could be 180 out or notset correctly if you had liek a gallonof gas come out of the cyls you could have serious issues. Liquid in a cyl on cpression = no good ! see if you have spark which you prolly dont illput 100$ says you have no spark ! check your coil and ignitor !
you should have 2 different marks on your crank pully, one with 3 slashes and one a little further back with just one slash. the 1 slash mark is TDC, although it may look correct with the ole extension in the cylinder way, its hard to tell if that cylinder is actually building compression. you need to see the marks, and there shouldbe a little plastic tab on your timing belt cover which will help you line them up, also pull your distributor cap off and see if when you reach TDC that the rotor is pointing at the number one terminal in the cap.

theres 1 notch on the front of the pully marks TDC there is an arrow for every piece pointing to TDC. If your getting gas all over the plugs and no explosion you have NO SPARK ! either way you should get some sort of spark and gas should ignit ! if you have that much you have ignition issues ! check your coil and ignitor im telling you if its just cranking and cranking and dumping gas you have a problem with your Dizzy, 100$ on ignitor ! SOOOO common its pathetic thats how i got my 2k$ civic oldlady couldnt get itto start traded it i put a used ignitor in it bam cranked up new car for me !
i did have the distributor on wrong, fixed that, it turned over once. and then nothing. when the distributor is installed, the intake cam locks up, so im thinking now that the cams bent.. which would explain the first distributor being broken. so now i guess tomorrow im pulling the head, and sending it out to be gone through. and then replace whatever.
