On 1.8L, You Forgot To Mention Diff. Pistons (Compression)
well just so u know neal ran a 11.97 in his crx all motor not a 12.4
and i have had my crx 12.1 so 12s are not a prob in a crx but depends on the car u use with the motor in a civic coupe or a teg good luck but it can be done just needs alot of work

gsr's already have 10.6:1 compression i believe. u can mill the head a lil bit to get a little more. type r's will give you 11:1 compression but its plenty possible to make 215-220 to the wheels without em. its all in the head....
usdm gsrs are only at 10:1. At that compression real high numbers are going to be hard to get. JDM gsr's are 10.6:1.

The November? issue of Modfied Mag there's an all motor civic that ran a 9.96. However, that was a shell car. With the few added pounds more of a full interior etc. you should be about 12's. See if you can find that issue or read about it online somehow and that'll give you a good idea.

well just to add my buddy has a hatch and has a gsr motor in it..It was completly stock..It has intake,struts,springs and a chiped p72..And it runs really low 14's all motor and then if we need any more power we got the bottle...And it really made this motor screem with nos it runs high 12's low 13's..spining like a mother fucker..with DR
I have a friend with a 92 cx hatch completly gutout with a 99 gsr swap with koni 5 way adj shocks, groung control coilovers, 3" pvc intake, dcsport 4-2-1 header, skunk2 intake mani, skunk2 cam gears, obd1 ecu, apexi n1 exhaust and some lightweight hx's with nitto DR and he ran a 13.7@104mph in a q mile.
