the point of puting upgraded(stiffer) valve springs in a car is to give it the ability to run a more aggressive cam(s) and mainly rev higher. the stiffer valve springs prevent the valves from "floating". the upgraded retainers are there to support the stiffer springs. i run skunk2 valvetrain but have always been a fan of ferrea
Titanium retainers also reduce valve train weight. It's up to you. Is there more power to be made higher in the RPM on your application?
