i have a problem starting up when the engine is cold. the colder it gets the harder it is to start up. i have to turn the engine about
5-6 times befor it start up but and then if i dont rev it up it will stall out.
i diagnostic it and i got a code 6 ECT - water temperature sensor
than i change all but one (the littlest on)2 out of 3. but that didnt help any.
o and the car is a 95 civic ex with a b18b if anyone know what it is or know of someone i can take it to PLEASE someone help me! thanks

 

take your battery to have it tested.

 

but why would it throw a check engine light. cause its been like this for about 1 1\2 month now.

 

that may be for something different. i highly doubt the water temp sensor is affecting your start up. the reason i say battery is if you arent pumping out enough CCA's, it'll take longer for your coil to heat up, thus taking longer to start.

 

I have seen them run like shit w/ a bad temp sensor+hard to start
also could be the ignition system,coil etc......or fuel problem ,I can take a look at it ,if you want & probly fix it!.....
