Default TECH: Car Math e/t, weight, 1/4, 1/8

http://www.rdrop.com/users/larry/download/formulas.pdf

Sites that do the math for you:
http://www.rpmoutlet.com/dyno.htm
http://robrobinette.com/et.htm
http://www.prestage.com/Car+Math/ET...t+/default.aspx

I have used these formulas & sites before to see how acurate they really are. They have been extremely close if not dead on.

There are factors i.e. drivers skill & ground level, traction etc.

Loosing 100 lbs is atleast .10 off your e/t that was what I was trying to inform you of.

I was baisically trying to get a point across, I didnt know rounding calculations were going to make you so upset.

Here you go chronic:
http://www.geocities.com/tek_civic/weight.html

He calculated lossing 215 lbs out of your vehicle will reduce your et by .25

That is about 100 lbs for .10

I would have to agree 100lbs taken out easily will get you a tenth.

Chronic, there are too many variables to get exact numbers.
You can average out results hence having a range of decently acurate results.

Yay to Ron for not being a block head
