200whp is a hard number to hit n/a w/ factory internals especially for $2500.

Your best bet would be GSR & some nitrous.
Even this application would cost more than $2500.

Stay away from a 1.6L b16 application. It is cost effective but in the long run you will not be happy.

What is limiiting you is money. Without a good amount of money your goal is extremely hard to reach.

You could spray a B16 to close to 200 for around 2500, but it would be pretty tough to find a GSR for that price, let alone mod it to 200. I would recommend saving up some more money before doing this. You COULD always boost the d series that's already in your car.

Just realized we were leaving out the H22, you could also spray that to 200 relatively easily for 2500. I'm not really into nitrous, so i would just go with the H22 and some aftermarket, you shouldn't be too far off 200 with that.

I don't know much of the H23, as far as i know it's not the best engine. I would stick with the 22 and bolt ons. As far as the LS goes if you're thinking LS turbo you aren't going to cover that with 2500, respectably at least.

You may want to consider looking into an h22 swap.
They make nice numbers for the money. But then again you have to purchase a mount kit & you will end up wanting aftermarket axles too.

Shit vito beat me to the h22 swap :-/

I highly recommend you stay away from h23/ls nonvtec swaps.
They will not get you near your 200 whp goal for $2500.
