My ghetto HMT Sohc un-mini-me civic *pics*
My car was pretty quick for the budget kit i had also.I used this setup:
13g turbo(1g dsm auto)
ported hf manifold
450cc's with afc hack(also untuned)
2g dsm intercooler
1g dsm bov
stock auto tranny
walbro 255
2 inch charge piping
ebay plate
I never ran it at the track and did 5-15lbs of boost when i had it.I'm guessing similar times to yours in the 1/4.As far as beating the ta i'm with u man.I raced a modded ls1 ss on a 60+roll and hung with it till the crxs top speed.When u get some tuning i dont see why u cant break 200hp and high 12's in the 1/4.

Hey Brian, great to see you post this up on TR, to everyone on here, this guy motivated me to finishing my home made turbo kit, oh, and that z6 head of his is on my crx, on the 3rd motor, poor fuel managment, and a half of quart of oil doesnt last long. well brian, love your setup, i hope you make it out to best buy saturday, im doing some rebuilding on the crx saturday, but i should be done by best buy time, hope to see you up there again. -Ben

The best engine in the world is the vagina, it takes any size piston, its self lubricating, starts with 1 finger, and every 4 weeks does its own oil change. It's just a pity the management system is so fucking temperamental.
You can use the same manifold and turbo as I have and keep the A/C, but you'd have to use a different adaptor plate. The compressor housing would be twisted torward the front of the car more ( meaning that you'd have to get a half-sized radiator ) and the Down-piping would have less room and be closer to the block.
I've seen it done by a guy on H-T/HMT. I think he was making 189whp on like 8psi with PS and A/C on a Y7/Y8 and starion FMIC.

Ok, a little more ghetto stuff for you guys !! And one thing I fixed ( kinda ).
#1 I'm featuring the 5.0 "Ford Motorsport" 8.8mm spark plug wires now !!! I had to do a little drilling, cutting, crimping, and bitching, but I think think they turned out pretty goo for free !!! I used to own a mustang about 3 years, ago and for some reason I keep a spare 4 plugs wires that I had for it... I saw them in my shed and thought " damn those are a lot bigger than my honda wires !!!".
#2 I finally found a cheap set of tail lights that I slapped in !!! Yes, the clear tails in the above pics were just "loaners", and yes I know they aren't the exsact same...
#3 I made "home made hood loovers" !! It still isn't finshed being bondoed, and painted, but they work well !!!
#4 I made a "air inlet pipe" for the turbo. That sucks air directly from where air comes in from one of the hood vents/loovers.
