hybrid axles
ok i got a 1990 civic std and ive been told in order to put a si tranny in my car i need to change the hubs and stuff i was just wondering if i could just change the end of the axle to fit the std hub and have one end si and one end std so i dont have to go through all that trouble i know its not the right way but i just want to know and how hard it would be to do and if it would be a weak axle because of the diffrences thanks
on the std hubs ive heard that you do its the std 4 speed tranny a little diffrent then usuall so i think they might have to be changed but you never know if anyone else has anythign to sy about this please join in a nd help out i want to know what i got to do
if you have to, it can be done, talk to mike's driveline busch/nebraska, they hybrided my si axle with my dx hub.

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.
