what kinda hp are you talking about? spinning through 3rd and 4th thats crazy.......

You're gonna have traction problems in any FWD car with a decent amount of power. The laws of physics are working against you.
The best thing you can do to hook, is to properly setup your suspension for launches. If you want to have traction in a FWD car in the 1/4 mile - your gonna sacrafice ride quality. Good quality - traction bars, like Jim Fab will really help! I speak from experience.
