i have a question about my Honda
well i really dont know much about my car. But i drive a 91 civic hatch and as i am driving down the street i put it in 3rd and it grinds going in and then it slips out, then i put it in 4th and it just grinds alittle, and then i put it in 5th and it does the same grinds and slips. What could it be? i am being told it could be the tranny or the clutch or some other stuff. if someone could help me i would like that very much.

yes tranny is going thay are very cheap and very very easy to change even if no carsmarts..its alot cheaper to replace it then rebuild it

syncro's for sure, happened to my on my rs-t 1 month before i was driving with CC on at 45mph and BAM tranny literally grenades and parts fly all on SR580 from underneath my car. I used to have pix of the tranny when i pulled it out somewhere...
