Default H23a into a civic?

my friend has a 95 civic dx coupe..... i got a h23a engine from a prelude and i am givin it to him for his car... how hard is it and what is required to make the conversion?

it'll be cramped but it's possible. i would def reccomend a mount kit, from Hasport. if you want someone who will do the weird swaps, you should talk to KJ, he's done em all.

the link shows related items such as complete and new axels, and conversion wiring of which there will be a lot. it's an expensive swap, but if you do it right, you will reap the benefits.

it can be done with some research. like stated before talk to kj @ zmr i have a 92 hb with a h22 it is definately cramped:o

yea i figured it would be real cramped.. sickazz-92HATCH did you put your engine in yourself or did you pay for it to be done?

You don't need to buy the wiring harnesses from Hasport they are way overpriced and your stock harness is easy enough to convert. As for axles the 90-93 teg axles w/ 90 accord int. shaft works out pretty good and is alot cheaper than the custom ones. Our turbo h22a hatch is still running the teg axles. Check out HCP Engineering for the mount kit. They are about $200 cheaper than the Hasports and work really well in the 92-95 chassis. Hasports are still probably the best, but pricey IMO.
