Comparing of Cams

How do the Skunk 2 stage 1 cams compare to Toda spec A's? if anyone has any personal experience with either please shed some light.

toda spec a's walk all over skunk2's all day long. i have some spec a's that may be for sale here shortly... if you're interested.

cool i figured that. but the spec a's dont change the size of the primary lobe's right? just the vtec lobe's

it's both... i've noticed a dramatic increase in mid-range pre-vtec torque...

I had the Skunks stage 1 and when VTEC kicked in it pulled pretty hard..........but I will have to say go with Toda's becuz of personal rapings I've taken from cars that have the same setupo as I did but just with those cams instead of my skunk2's

i personally would go with the toda spec B's... if i was looking at the A's i would just get some CTR's... i know the A's are somewhat better... but for the price i would just do CTR's... so i vote Toda Spec B's...

Yeah but with B's wouldn't you need aftermarket valve train. I mean I agree with you but if your working with stock valve train then you dont want or cant use the B's.
