ring gap determination
how do you guys determine ring gap?
i know it varies by piston material and usage(NA or FI) (more if high silicone?) and target hp but is there a table or something i can go by?

Usually the manufacturer givs you a certain clearance per inch of bore. Multiply the numbers together and you get your clearance. Use feeler gages and file the rings to get the clearance you need.
