Default Stupid Brake Light!

I know this is sort of a repost but I cant find the old one. My Brake light on my dash (99 Teg) won't go out. It goes on an off sometimes but for the most part its always on. My brake pads are good and I've got brake fluid so what is it? Maybe my little switch on the E-brake? ,please help. Thanks.

Your fluid may be fine, but make sure the floater is floating... mine got stuck down and caused the same problem.

This happens on my 'Teg all the time. The brake light was on solid yesterday, all day, so at 7/11 I held the hood up with one hand, took the top off the brake fluid resevoir with the other. Jiggled the top a couple times to make sure the float was free and screwed it back on, no more brake light. 30 sec. total.
