Default Dead Cylinder

OK, I haven't been able to figure this one out. I have a 94 Civic and cylinder 3 will not spark. The wires are good, and the plug is good, i have swapped those a few times. I have tried different injectors, and am not throwing any codes. I was able to verify that the plug wire to number 3 is getting a spark, but when I pull it from the cylinder, the motor does not react at all to it, it is just dead on number 3. Other than a compression check (doing tomorrow) what else could this be? Thanks

Oh yeah, forgot to mention... everytime I go to swap out my plugs, they seem to be caked with fuel as well. I knew I was running rich already, but this doesn't seem to explain why only cyl. 3 is dead.

Could be that your harness's injector plug is fuxored :-/

All I can say is make sure you see the spark plug wire making spark when you put it close to a valve cover nut etc...

If that is all fine & dandy, make sure you do not have a faulty spark plug...

OK, I thought I covered that in my original post. I am now on a 2nd set of brand new spark plugs. I stuck a screwdriver into #3's wire and moved it to a metal peice and got an arc, so I know the wire is firing. I also started the car, pulled the plug off injector 3 and plugged it into another injector and is was spraying, so the harness is good. Only thing I think left to do is a compression check. I am also on my 3rd set of injectors
