Question Rear Brake question

If I'm doing a rear brake swap on a 97 civic ex using parts from 99-00 civic si, do I need to replace the trailing arms? Looking at the helms manual, it seems the brake drums can be removed from the rear hubs and the brake discs installed reusing the hub bearings, spindle nuts and washers. Is it easier to install trailing arms with the brake dics already attached to avoid any headaches? If so, where is the best junkyard?

Okay, new parts you need: rear trailing arms, upper arm, spindle, e-brake line, brake hose(i think not postive), rotor and caliper. We just did a 98 civic ex at work and that is what we used.

My list is the same except for the spindle. Where did you get the parts?

I just switch the whole trailing arm. Keep the stock alignment bars and upper control arm. All the trailing arms are the same since 88 pretty much with no major dimensional differences so yes you could do the hub swap but I think it is alot harder to do it that way.
