Seperating Wrist Pins?

Default Seperating Wrist Pins?

How do you seperate the wrist pins on a d series rods and pistons, of someone has some info it would be greatly appreciated. thanks -Ben

You need to have the proper tools to remove the pin..

pindriver/hydrolic press...

Take your rods/pistons to a machine shop

I had two very good machine shops tell me that the honda wrist pins are very likely to fatigue the rod while being pressed out. because there pressed in to such tight tolerences the rod has to be heated so the metal can expand, which also weekens the metal. It isn't something they prefer to do so don't be shocked if they ruin one of your pistons. Good luck with the stock ones. You should just upgrade to some new rods and pistons if you got the money

Factory pistons & rods are fine....
Just purchase a helms manual & take it to the machine shop & tell them to follow the instructions in the manual
