crx wont start..need help!
ok i have a 91 crx with a b20/vtec swap. got another car as well for school so the crx has been sitting a little bit and now it doesnt start. it cranks like it wants to start but it doesnt. ive checked for spark, which was good, fuel is good, and fuel pump seems to be ok. injector pulse is good as well. tried jumping it too. i have a fuel pressure gauge as well and it reads about 45 psi although the guy who built the motor had it about 60 psi when i left the shop. could the regulator be bad? the fuel pump? or could it be electrical? any advice would be greatly appreciated. i need to sell this car soon. if anyone is interested in buying pm me as well. thanks a ton everyone.
u just said it was sittinga lil bit, how long is a lil bit? performance machines get tempermental about shit. the car should run on a fuel pressure of 45, chances are ur not getting enough power, if all the things u said are good really are.

Well think about what you need to start a car.
Compression
Fuel
Spark
Timing
One of the four has to not be there for it not to start. How did you check for spark and fuel? Just because there is pressure at the fuel filter does not necessarily mean it is across the rail also. Check your tuiming belt to make sure it has not skipped a tooth. Check compression.

i unscrewed the end of the rail a little bit, and it released some pressure so i know it has pressure. yet to do a compression test but i guess i could check that too. i pulled the plug wire and plug in #1 cylinder and pointed it at a ground and cranked it a little bit and it sparked so it has spark. did an injector pulse test as well and that came up positive. never thought about the timing belt thing but that might be it too. the car has been sitting for about 2 weeks give or take. i had started it up a couple times and taken it around the block but that was about it.
