xat has no clue when it comes to honda/acura shit (sorry if I offended anyone)

They are a nissan specialist, they can work on hondas no problem, but they don't have much of a clue from what I hear.

 

any suggestions?? i really wanted to do it myself, or help, but my shop i would use closes @ 6, when i get off work =\ maybe ill take some time off to do it?? who knows.

 

What exactly are you trying to do ?

Go auto to 5 speed ?
Change out your tranny for a different hseries 5 speed tranny ?

Hseries (preludes) are a pain to work on because of the space you have to work w/ in the engine bay.

I have done bseries clutches in 2.5 hours w/out a lift taking my time etc. (same labor as tranny swap).

I am sure xat can manage to swap out a tranny for you. If not I highly recommend kj at zmr.

 

ok im going auto to 5-speed. XAT is busy/booked until march 8th. I would have no problem going wit hthem. they quoted me at 450$ ... for labor. I thought that was a good price, wish i could wait till the 8th

 

ahhh anyone? i need my car back, noone wants to do it!! i have everything 99% minus a few bolts maybe.. i dont want to have to tow my car to tampa to get a "quote" =<
