Default Straight piping?

Well... i'm going to "probably" get a custom straight pipe from the bottom of my shorty header to my catback exhaust... now my exhaust is a Greddy Evo with the 60mm piping.... now if i get the downpipe upgraded to the 60mm piping from a friend who owns exhaust shop and no cat.. just running straight from header to exhaust piping??? how much gain will i possibly get... like will it be a decent ass dyno? better high End?? better low-end??? how much power increase on the 1.7L? Thanks

-Derek

Keep the Greddy and lose the cat. It will be a decent gain, nothing spectacular, but decent.

Well make sure you have a fix for the Check Engine Light because the newer cars have extra sensitive maps for a CatIneffieciency code...

Get a quality header with the first 02 sensor after it and then a highflow cat and then the 2nd 02 sensor and you should be good...

well... they make o2 simulators for our cars... so i'm gonna buy that for the catless problem... other than that i should be good to go... right??? and my greddy is very deep... not ricy.... without the cat is it just gonna be a mean growl now??? or is it gonna turn massively ricy??? lemme know
