Default Replacing Timing Belt

First time doing timing belt, any suggestion will be very appreciated.

Car = 99GSR.

Do I need any special tools to replace timing belt and cam gears?

I have the Helm manual and have purchased these parts from Honda:
Timing belt
Water pump
A/C belt
Alternator belt
Skunk2 Cam gears

Also, How long should it take to install?

how long should it take and how long will it take are 2 different things.

it should take about 2-3hours
ity probably will take your over 5 since u have to ask this question.

you will need an impact gun or crank pulley wrench to get the crank pulley bolt loose. other than that its pretty much just nuts, bolts and know how.

Also be sure to mark the old timing belt before you replace it(mark it on all 3 pulleys & belt(cam sprockets & crank sprocket)this Will make your life easy...........then match the 3 marks on the new belt in the same place.......tighten the belt & your good to go.........

ha ha dave must have eaten the angry soup tonight!!!!

if you dont have an impact gun, you can stick a flat head screw driver in the slots of your rotors, rotate it around until it presses against the caliper, place the car in 5th gear with the clutch out and get a huuuuge breaker bar!(ghetto style)

make sure you know where TDC is on the compression stroke, and it will be a pain in the ass if you still have all your accesories on.

i suggest you have someone who has done this before help you out. ive done it over 50 times and i still fuck up

yea that came out kinda harsh but wasnt intended that way. i am just curious what marking the old timing belt would do to help you put it back in time with a new timing belt???

you mark the old T-Belt then line up the teeth marks with the new
T-Belt,mark the new one in the same place, then install it on the marks
on all 3 pulleys,it will still be in time no matter if its not at top dead center...........
