ok my starter went out in my 1990 civic std with a manuel 4 speed tranny now my question is will a starter out of a civic si manuel tranny fit in my car i was told it wont but i thought id ask you guys before i tried doin it and it not working on me since i was told the trannys are diffrent sizes??? well i would appreciate everyones help

 

what does std stand for ?

 

std=standard and try tapping on your starter, i bet that will fix it.

 

I have a d-series starter if U need it
IF U have a 4-spd & a 5-spd starter if should fit ,but if its an auto it may be different .........
