Default ECU Need some really good help. .

I bought this 5spd pr3 with a mugen chip with sensors disabled. Iam still redlining at 7grand and the only thing I can feel differnce on is the car runs rich now which I like. Iam really having a hard time trying to figure out what is wrong?, why iam so stuck on 7grand. I reseted the ecu pulling the fuse under the hood fuse box. Its supose to have no rev. limiter and vtec engagment of 4500rpms.

I bought the ecu from a well respected and honest person. I know nothing is wrong with this ecu.

Iam still throwing codes 9,23 The vtec I have not ran the one wire yet but it still should go past 7grand. Iam really stumped.

Code 9 is a serious code... CYP Sensor (Cylinder)

Try rulling these codes out by trying a different ecu, you might have a bogus ecu

What wire havnt you ran ? All wires should be ran before you go testing a car....

run all the wires first. I believe the Mugen program eliminates the knock sensor and the secondary 02 sensor.
