Iam having problems finding a good si harness for a 88 si. Will a ls harness work?

What if I took the wires off the ls and put the si plugs on them so they fit? I would still have to run the 3 wires for vtec but it looks like it might work I dont know. what do you think?

I think only 1 of the pins are different..the plugs are the same. I believe you just need to move the wires around a little bit because one of the connection is about 8-12" away.

You'd need 4 wires for the vtec.

Why are you talking about Vtec? You said 88 SI?

"Why are talking vtec" cause i have a b16 swapy. I'll see what I can do with this ls harness to see if I can hook it all up good. My main goal is iam getting a code 9 and I can't figure it out how to get rid of it. I know that its gota be my wiring. Although all seems to be hooked up well. That or maybe a distributor but I already swaped a dis. with someone to see if that was it. no luck. still code 9. My only last thing on my mind would be the wiring either in the engine harness itself or the ecu?

Iam runing a ls ecu auto. I plan on geting a pr3 tommorw if the guy comes through. Iam like 80% sure that this could be my problem. Or the wiring between the ecu and the engine harness that goes through the fire wall. I dont know maybe someone knows this stuff really well and can fix it for me or tell me what it is that I need to get.

The main difference is one of the plugs on the drivers side shock tower. The plugs on the passenger side can reach with a little creative routing.
