A Bad thing happened last night
i was using a 75 shot of zex one time and it just totally burnt the ground strap right of the #4 cylinder plug. AT that high of heat it just burns up nothing left to look for. hopefully you don't have to rip the motor apart.

damn that sucks.... i would write a letter to zex about the plugs and send them pics and see if theyre willing to help to save face a lil... plugs shouldnt just come apart like that, especially the pretty pricey zex plugs.....good luck with the rebuild...

did the car run after that happened. im assuming it did but was obviously misfiring like a mofo. i highly doubt it did any serious damage to your internals. pull all the plugs and do a compression test or leakdown test just to be safe. the piece missing probably just bounced around for a split second then just passed out the exhaust. shouldnt be a big deal. worse things have happened
After it happened I pulled it over and changed the plugs. I had some NGK's that I drive around town on. It didn't help. It still wasn't firing on #1. My guess is that it might have fucked up one of the valves. I'm going to do a compression test and leakdown test.
I'll write zex and show them the plug. I'm sure that they will have some bullshit answer, but It's worth a shot.
