Default turbo size

I want to run turbo on my civic that has a b20 swap in it. I need to know what size to run trim or whatever. I dont want to have a huge turbo to make me run super fast times. my car is more built for show. I just want to have a turbo for show purposes and to have a little more speed than what the b20 gives me. Also not really lookin to change any internals or anything. I dont plan on doing anything over 7psi. also if anyone could give me something like a parts list that I would need cause im most likely going to b finding parts here and there unless someone has a kit they want to sell. thanks any help would b appreciated.

BAD IDEA, the sleeves are too weak for boost on the B20, if you want boost you need to sleeve it.

I know that ppl call them bandaids but what would it cost to have one of those put on? who could do that SS? thanks guys

lots of ignorant responses in this thread. a B20 can hold 7 lbs no problem. THe b20 was in a heavier crv. Heavier chassis = more load = higher cylinder pressures = more stress on the sleeves and honda put it there stock so yah, 7 lbs in a civic will be fine.

block guards wont make your sleeves stronger neccessarily because they only stabilize one pressure point.... they only stabilize the top which isnt really the part you need to worry about... the sleeves in the B20 are just straight weak and ive heard of the crackin under boost as low as 7 psi with rods and pistons... now that may have been an isolated event but why run that risk and have to spend the money all over again??? youd be better off spending the money once and do it right... go see Collin at Racing Integration or John at Secret Services and one of them will lead you in the right direction and help u get the ball rollin.... I personally think that the Golden Eagle sleeves are pretty good as well as Dartons.... and then get a nice set of Eagle Hbeams or crower rods which are basically the same, and some wiseco/endyn rollerwave or JE 9.0:1s and the block will handle all the abuse you can throw at it..... But take this information as a suggestion and talk to a real professional and see what they think... I personally wouldnt boost on a stock B20 bottom end because youre still gonna have to spend the money after it goes boom... build it right and boost away and youll be very happy you did so.....

well that was one of my orginal ?s is what size turbo I should run. As I stated b4 I dont need the turbo to super big or anything like that. Just something that is good for a car Im going to drive almost everyday. But im going to try to get in touch with SS tomorrow and talk to them.
