Lightened underdrive pulley

Default Lightened underdrive pulley

So does anyone use a lightend underdrive (Crank) pulley?
What are the pro's if any and con's?

and does anyone like theres?

I do not have personal experience becasuse my friend had one on his LS/VTEC and it made the motor unbalanced he said. Went back to stock smooth as can be. Just what I have heard.

Best one that i've ever heard of and has dyno results to prove it is.... DH racing has a pulley for the 1.7 SOHC civic and it puts like 15 out or so it says.... but they have dyno's to prove so i dunno... just wiht that pulley no A/C or Power steering... so ur pick

the factory Honda N1 crank pulley is the best. hard to find them though

Just food for thought some of the top all motor engine builders run ls and crv crank pulleys because they are the biggest and heaviest and offer the most dampning.

If you don't buy into that then machine off the accesory belts you are not using. Have it balanced and you are good to go, that is basically what the N! pulley is anyways.

I have a lightned crank pulley in my rsx and it works fine. I've heard bad things about changing the crank pulley but it didn't bother me. A big jump of power comes from a lightned crank pulley.

Whats so special about the LS or CRV crank pullys? Is it possible to put one on a B16? Would it really be worth it? Just wodering...
