Default Performance Axles

Hope you guys don't mind me posting this here.

I only want information from people with first hand experience.

I have been snapping axles like twigs and I want to know what you Honda guys do about this. I see there is a set from http://www.driveshaftshop.com/ they only make a level 2 and 5 for my car. Does anyone know how strong the level 2 is? They are made from 4340 steel. $700 seems like alot though

Does anyone know of any local people that can make stronger axles?

Tried Napa, broke a week after at an event.
Tried Discount, broke in two days of spirited driving.
Tried Raxles, beefy as hell but set up vibration issues in the car
Went back to OEM, no problems

Driveshaft shop makes some pretty decent axles, and even has a set specifically for road racing/auto-x that I have heard good things about. When my current set finally decide to give up, I'll probably go that route.

There's guys pushing stage 2's to 500hp with no problems not to mention they are only like 400 bucks for both. I would just like to find the company GATOR AXLES phone # or there web site.

How much power do you have? If you are snapping stock axles with under 300whp, you have a clutch that is too aggressive...15" slicks will snap axles easier too...Heavy Weight will snap axles...Too hard a launch will snap axles...Wheelhop will snap axles...

Colin took his stock axles with his Turbo CRX to a 10.01, I believe...Its really all about the geometry of the shaft before and after you launch, the weight and the transfer of power...

DSS Stage 5 Axles are not worth the price for anyone thats not racing for a living unless you can afford to throw down $2000 on a set of axles...

I have more than enough to break axles. This is not for a honda, it is for an eclipse. BTW I have well over 300hp on low boost.

Who has contact info for this gator place?
