clicking when i brake
I dont know if its a brake problem or a cv problem,but when i brake there is a clicking noise from my front end. Odd thing is if i apply my brakes harder it goes away any suggestions would be helpful

This is the internet. You're just supposed to talk up whatever you do know as if you're a salesman for it. i.e. I drive a Supra and a Corolla therefore 2JZ is the greatest and so is the 4A and I don't care about anything else because it's all crap since I don't have it. I also have a stack of $20 bills in front of me, therefore 20>50 and 20>100 and 20>1000. $20 bill FTW.
Yeah you have antilock brakes...Your tranny leak is another problem...Your brake pads are sliding in the caliper bracket...No need to worry about the clicking noise unless you can see that something is not mounted securely...All Impreza'a brakes click when we back out of the driveway and then pull forward...When the brakes heat up, the clicking goes away...

If clicking only occurs under light braking and ceases under heavy, chances are Sunrise is right and it's just the pad retainers on the caliper(s). I get that ever now and again when using different pads. Seems the tab thickness from pad to pad is not always uniform.
