you can build one by importing parts or importing a whole car.

but honda never released the civic type r in the states. plus they never made a type r from 92-95 to my knowledge.

the kid's friend probably just got some badges from pep boys so that makes it a real type r!

The only thing remotely close to a "92-95 type-r" I have seen has been Si-R Right Hand Drive 92-95 eg hatchbacks. (Canada)

Honda never released a Civic Type-R to the general public in the states.... But it is possible to buy a civic type-r from some one which has imported one

Getting a title on a RHD jdm imported car is not fun from what I hear.

Actually getting a title on a RHD Civic or Integra is much easier than say a Skyline or a turbo version of a car that is sold here...Since the civic and integra are both sold here, theres already emission tests and crash tests for their chassis...

The 94-00 Impreza WRX is the same chassis as the 93-01 Impreza in the states but since it uses a Turbo motor, the emissions are very different than the N/A US cars...So, they are only allowed in for Race/Show Use only...
