Default Honda Window Havoc

Problems with the driver side window. It continously would fall out of the track every time the window was half way down and you shut the door, or just after a couple uses it would come out of the door.

I was told it was the window regulator so i ordered a new one and put it in my self. Now im having a whole new problem. The window does not want to work properly at all. I followed the helms directions as well as alternative sources, to loosen all the mounting bolts aling the window in the two tracks retighten them and then test for smooth operation.

My problem is once every is put together it looks fine. The window is sitting proplery and everything and as long as i keep some pressure on the window to stay in the tracks it does. I have to keep my hand pushing the track towards the rear window route. If i let go and let it do it on its ownthing, the front end of the winow drops and the back begins to come up faster. then the front side ends up popping out of the track and the window is all cock eyed in the door so i have to take it back apart and start over again.

This is becomming very anoying and was wondering if anyone has had this problems and what i should do to remedy it.

It could be the rubber weather stuff. If it starts going up then going cockeyed that could be it. Use some tire stuff that makes them shiny spray it in weather stripping and see if that works.

i went thru like a 6 month ordeal of that shit too. eventually i took my time and actually did it right an made sure eveerything was tight and in place....havent had a problem for over 6 months now. im not really sure what i did different. tho

what i would try is get the window in place and make sure everything is tight and snug then while the window is comepletely down spray silicone all over the seals then roll the window back up and leave it for about 12hrs till you move it again. it worked for me so thats what id suggest

there is and adjustment 10 mm bolt on the bottom inside of the door that the track bolts too when u loosen and tighten that u have to make sure it is as far to the left as it can go witht the window in there so it will line up straight if u want to come by or call me bro i will show u
