Default injector problem: need help ASAP

i installed my injectors (dsm 450) yesterday and i ran into a problem... im pretty sure i wired the resistor box up right (used solder and everything) and i instsalled the injectors ok (no fuel leak and tight fitting) but when i started the car its idling like between 800 and 1100... i know that to most pple this is normal to have a rough idle but everytime i start the car the check engine light comes on.... now i dont have one of those diagnostic things to tell me what code is being thown but i was wondering if anyone here has had this happen after the install and if u can give me an idea of y it would throw a code... im pretty sure its not the MAP code b/c i havnt driven it yet, its just been in idle so it hasnt read ne positive pressure....the exhaust smokes alot so i know im getting alot of fuel.... i can smell it!!! sometimes when i rev it, it sputters but not like its not getting enoough but almost as its getting too much (like a gurggling kind of sound) but not all the time... here are my vafc settings... (everything works on the afc like the cor and the press)

throttle point : low 98% high 99%
in 06 out 06
1-4k: -38
4.5-8.5k: -37

i changed the 1-4k to -41 but it didnt help.... PLEASE HELP

somethings gotta be wired wrong man. i used to have dsm injector in my car a while back and didnt have any issues. u need to check the code, itll probably be fuel system malfunction but i guess check you wiring again. also, are you sure the injectors are good?

yea the injectors are good... the car is getting fuel and its not boggin out or anything in idle but it just keeps throwing a code....
how did u wire ur resistor box? this is how i did mine
i checked with a multimeter whch 4 wires on the plug went to the injectors and then i found a 5th plug that was a constant 12 volts
i wired the 4 injector wires to the 4 black wires on the resistor box and wired the 5th constant wire to the red wire on the box (with solder) there are no leaks from the injectors and i took the missing link off...

i really dont remember off the top of my head with out seeing it. also why did u take the missing link off???

i was told that u dont use a missing link when ur using the vafc to lean ur fuel because the afc needs an unlimited MAP signal to manipulate and send to the ecu and if the ML was on it wouldnt be able to do that and the settings on the afc would be pointless... the ML is preventing the ecu from seeing boost and the afc already does that

now my car wont start!! i turned it on for the first time in a day and at first it was bogging out real bad and then shut off and after that it wouldnt start... im thinkin that either the resistor box is bad or its not wired right and the injectors arent even spraying... it was running on fuel already in the manifold until that was gone then it bogged out and shut off, at least thats what i think.... it trys to turn over but wont start... im gonna try the inline resistors and see if thats it and if the car still wont start then its gotta be the injectors...any one agree with my reasoning?
