Thing to consider. The civic 4spd is the STD model. It has an 8 valve head. Honda has made some 8 valve heads over the years the crx hf, civic STD and the civic cx. Some of these 8 valve blocks have pistons with only 8 valve reliefs. Some have the same pistons as the 16 valve dx heads. It realy just depends on the year. If you have a block with only 8 valve reliefs then you can't swap a 16 valve head on because the valves will smack the pistons. Just something you may want to look into.

Also I'm not personally a believer in the mini me swap so I'd either save up for a b16a or get a complete d16z6/y8 motor and wire the car up to obd1 so you can run the right ecu (P2 and distributor.

Going from dual point to multi is pain but have seen it done. If going mini me swap. Good get everything and don't cut coners. Don't spend money on a b-series go turbo with extra money. Much fast in the end? Besides You could get a cam and ported head and make 160 whp na
