ohh and atm I just have a d16z6
I'm still debiating whether or not to build the d16 or swap.
I'm liking the idea of building the D16 and turbo'ing it

My overall goal for this car is to keep the d16 and get about 180+ whp
Pretty basic request I think?
also, cronic, can you in fact get me a turbo kit for under 1g?
I want a kit that i can run rght now without building my engine, but in the future will be good enough for me to really boost.

180whp will cost you a bit more then a grand.
I would suggest at the least, a 60 trim t3 for that. You would want a hybrid, one with a .48 a/r on the exhaust side... for the money it would cost to make one, you could get a t3/t4 50 trim, and make more power. *shrug*
Expect to pay 450 for a used 50 trim t3/t4.
You could easily get a cheapy DSM sidemount, wrap it up front and use heater hose from Amazon hoes, this will hold 8psi. Anything over, and it'll break. (personal expierence). 8psi should be good for some extra power. Around 170whp on a D series vtec engine. Very close to your goal. With some tuning and such you'll work great.
You will need injectors, 310cc recomended by me, an FMU and an S/VAFC for perfect fuel tuning.
no need for a walbro pump just yet.
Your most expensive items will be the
manifold, turbo and downpipe.
I could probably get in touch with my friend who makes manifolds in canada for right around 300 bucks shipped to your door. He is not a business, he just used to sell them on ebay.

he can also provide you with a 3 bolt downpipe, I don't know if he could do a 5 bolt, he would need the flange, and he could do it.
A mandrel 2.5" could be done with keeping your ac, if you don't care about the compressor, he could do a full 3" mandrel one.
