Question Pro's & Con's???

heatspacer's on a B-18 (between the throttle body and intake mani) I know it makes a hella difference w/ those beloved v-8's everyone cars so much for. "joking" But is there any power gains or losses in doing so for the smaller 4 cylind. Or if so whats the proper thickness to use... hitta brother up... peaz owt...

no because if the intake manifold is still hot the air will just heat right back up after it passes thru, thats if theres even is any change in temp to begin with.

hondata make a heat resistant intake manifold gasket which will keep the IM cooler thatn with a standard gasket and also keep throttle body temps down. and is also "dyno proven" to decrease IAT

Theres no need to use both the hondata IM gasket is a thick re-usable plastic piece, not the cork like stock honda gaskets.

Using a Phenolic spacer on your intake manifold will help reduce intake air tempertures and increase oxygen content...Using any Spacer on your TB will increase volume of the intake manifold plenum and can increase torque and power....

So its safe to say that the IM gasket is garenteed power where as a the other spacer will just give you a better air to fuel ratio.... wheres to best place to spray (N O S) by the throttlebody body useing a spacer or in teh intake itself.... Sorry don't mean to be ignorent to the spill but you kn ow how everyone needs to ride the short bus... (it seems I'm on it more often than not)
