Default Swapping a H22a into a 93 Del Sol

Hey guys what is going on? I have some questions about doing a swap, I have a friend that is trying to swap a H22a into a Del Sol. I want to know:

What Fuel line to use?

What harness do I use?

What axles and midshadt?

If anyone knows anything at all about swapping this swap into a 92-95 civic/Del Sol, please email me or PM. Thank you

I use a custom stainless steel line for the fuel.

I use the stock engine harness that came with the car and modify it to fit the h22a

Axles depend on the intermediate shaft you decide to use. Check with the mount kit manufacturer for there suggestions. Alot of people use a 90 accord intermediate shaft and 90-93 teg axles.

What do you mean for Stainless steal line? How did you mount it to the Fuel rail and the Fuel filter? I had him get 90-93 axles, but I do not know where to get the mid shaft. Any info would really help. Thanks

I brought both ends of the line, the side that goes to the rail and the side that goes to the filter and how long I wanted it. Cost about $25-30 at Amazon hose.

Thanks for all the information. Can I leave the stock Fuel Filter in the stock spot or do I need to move it? Also do I run the fuel line on top of the manifold or the bottom? Also I know that the alternator is in front of the motor not in the back. DO I need to just make it longer? Also is that the only line that I need to make longer? Any info helps. Thanks a lot guys..

You need to lengthen alot of wires... well actually most wires just need to be rerouted by removing the wiring look and routing the harness a little differently. I'd run the line below the manifold. With the hcp mount kit you are going to need to slightly relocate the fuel filter bracket, not sure about the hasport kit.

for the axles, check with www.raxles.com - they've got experience with this swap, when you call, give them your chassis and mount kit, and they'll have a set.

you can also use a 90-93 accord fuel rail and it swaps the inlet to the passenger wide so you dont have a long fuel rail going across your intake.

food for thought.

Hey,

Thanks for all the great info, Is there any sensors that are on the H22a that are not on the SOHC motor? There is a couple of extra plugs that I do not know what to do with. Also there are a lot of vaccum line on the H22a, can I plug most of them? There is spot for them on the car. Thanks again.
