Default hood question...

i just bought a FI c/f hood, and the hood fits awesome, but when you close it, theres a little play in it. when you drive it rattles. i want to avoid HOOD PINS AT ALL COSTS. is there anyways to tighten or reduce the play? please help me out.

on each side there is a rubber bushing that can be adjusted by turning it, try that and then the duct tape. BTW I've seen and heard of some horror stories and carbon fiber hoods with no pins. Might just want to find some nice pins for a piece of mind, it is not worth the hood coming up and you wrecking the car IMO.

shorten the hook that is connected to the hood. . . . . I do not have hood pins in my hood and I have been driving it for awhile with no problems. Hood pins are shitty looking. .. . . RICE really really RICE
