b16a in my 01 HX

Am i hearing this correctly that it is a direct bolt up...looks that way but im skeptical..could someone shed some light on this subject or perhaps offer a better idea ..im very open as of now...in other words 117 Hp Vtec E dont cut it lemme know what you guys think or if you have a good b16 available for purchase.....must be an A2 im partial to those

I don't believe it is. No.
There is no difference between the B16a2/3, asside from the mileage.

B16a(JDM-SiR2) will have 170ps.

Why not swap in a k series? There are kits for the 01+ civics.

I would go K, i have a B16 in my CRX and my engine doesn't feel like it has the torque to pull it's little puny ass, let alone a 24-26xxx lb monstrousity.

cant really afford a 5 or 6 grand swap....and the mounts on the b16 are in the same position as the d17a1 currently in the car so i think it fits right in ill have to do more reasearch...and about the tourque situation ..im not really worried about it....i dont want it to "scream" just want a small holler its not gonna be a race car just something a little quick with good show value
