speedometer

Default speedometer

my speedometer on my 1992 prelude will not work although every once in a while itll shoot up and work for a few minutes so im 90% sure its the speed sensor. if anyone knows what else is could be lemme know. also anyone who has one i could buy from them pm me

most likely the speed sensor i would check the plug take it out and spary it and the sensor with electrical cleaner might be dirty causeing a bad connection or it might be at the back of the gauge cluster not likely but possible i would try to clean the sensor first then check the back of the gauge cluster i dont know what year the prelude changed from a speedo cable to electrical but i think urs is electrical good luck trying to get it fixed i hope this helps u some

thanks. yea id go and clean the sensor but i dont know exactly where it is. ive heard its behind the tranny so itll be really hard to get to. id wanna do it myself but i dont know how to get to it. anyone who wants to help me out here or give more ideas on what the idea is lemme know. ALSO IF ANYONE HAS A SPEED SENSOR FOR A H23 ILL BUY IT
