Default Tein??

Is anyone on this site currently using TEIN coilovers. How good are they? I was looking at the different setups, and was wondering how good the basic setup rides. Is it better or worth the money to get the setup above that w/dampening control?

Get Koni yellows and Ground controls. Simple, easy and effective. Custom spring rates with the Ground Controls and the ability to have the Koni's rebuilt and revalved here in the states is a good thing. Tein's may have more adjustabilty and what not but who has the time to do that. Tein's are just JDM bling bling in my opinion.

Tein rides very nice compared to a skunk2/tokico setup or nuespeed/tokico setup...

You get what you pay for :-/

Tein isnt the best...there are numerous other choices

A Ground Control/Koni setup will be more than enough for most people, or a custom Truechoice setup. H&R makes excellent coilovers as well.

As for JDM-Bling, theres also JIC, Buddy Club, Cusco, Mugen, Zeal, etc etc the choices go on and on. Tein is probably the most popular among coilover systems, but I wouldn't say they are the best by far.

Tein coilovers are TRUE coilovers, NOT sleeve coilovers(ground control,skunk2) I have the TEIN super street coilvers. my car TUCKS TIRE and rides so smooth. its very nice to be able to go to the track and adjust the dampers, Buy the best you wont be disapontied.
