rev limiter

Default rev limiter
i have a b16a in my crx and its supose to redline at 8200 but its only going to 7500 then it hits the rev limiter. im getting a error code for my vss but does that have anything to do with how it doesnt get to 8200 or could it be something else

VSS causes strange things to happen... when mine went out, the fucker never hit VTEC...

Has it always been like this, or is it a recent occurance?

cronic, to hit vtec u have to be 20+mph and with no vss the ecu cant tell

yup i belive he has an auto ecu or something is really fucked

i have a b16 rex with a pr3 if u want to try my manual ecu

its either an auto ECU or your car is not warming up to
correct temp..................

fix the vss or have it chipped. The mugen chip disables vss as a parameter for vtec. If you wan it chipped let me know.
