Default intake

i have a 1994 del sol that i did a swap on to a b16 . i have some questions , i have a air intake (ram) but i was wondering . someone told me that the cold air would be a lot better , and then , someone told me there was a big difference in the front mount intake . is the front mount any better ?

who makes the best intake does it really matter ?

im sorry for dumb questions , im new at this

thanks

i dont personally like front mount intakes so i would recomend AEM cold air intake. make sure u get the bypass valve or water could get sucked in and destroy your engine.

the only problem with living in FL is the rain and if ur car is at all dropped u are bound to drive through a big puddle at some point which come mean sendin ur motor to that big junkyard in the sky or at least breakin some bread to rebuild it so if u get the cold air make sure to get the bypass valve.... in my opinion id rather give up the extra .75 hp and just go with a short ram......

get a caps lock key...

...and an Iceman 2 piece, so when the weather report is clear and we're not in rainy season, you can run cold air, and remove the extension (very easy) in the wet weather.
