i think a bbq would be kool. if we all cooked burgers hot dogs and ribs and shit. with chips soda and some beer. that would be the best kinda meet to me. but not for just honda/acura. lets make it for everyo0ne cuz i cant stand being the only nissan there and im surrounded by hondas.

well my opinion to make it fun and alot of people come is have some breezies there, like an odd ratio, maybe 3:1 and lots of coronas and steaks....... lol........ forgot this was a public event thought it was one of the picnics i used to have back in the day...... if its gonna be in the end of nov y not do it in clearwater??? itll be empty and we can use the parking lots, or that ghetto beach on the side of the road i think its off of 60 take a bunch of good pics and head to clearwater or something like that.... just a thought....

peace

-Yeah I think Clearwater Beach sounds pretty good. Especially if its around late November b/c less people will be there. Also having it in late Nov. or early December kind of clears the air since the last meet and makes more people look forward to it.
-The beach has the bbq area, volleyball, nicer bathrooms (compared to Lake Park), and they have clubs & bars all around the area. I'm not promoting drinking, but maybe if the meet starts later in the day, we could end up at Shepards or Greenbacks. The outside area of the bars doesnt ID at night, so anyone under 18 could still hang out. It's pretty kewl actually.
-Also the last meet was way too early for my style. I think I woke up when it was over. Saturday night is the latest night of the week I'm out, so I dont want to do anything early on Sundays. Thats the main reason me and my friends didnt show for the last meet.

I think me and jdmcrx89 are on the same wave length

Why don't we make this a H/A track day/event? The last Civic meet was at BMP and it was a blast. That way we all get to race our cars (legally), you get to see what your car will do in the 1/4 and we get see who is the fastest

End of November at BMP would be cool.

My vote November. Why I'll have my dayum CRX Back.

My vote for Place: Clearwater beach sounds good but paying for parking would suck. Where they had the last TR picnic was nice also.

Things to do: Kickball and Dodgeball

Things to Eat: Bring your own

Things to do afterwards: Movies (it's air conditioned) or beach bar with live band

One thing: Meet in one place that does not allow everybody to seperate off into groups. It will happen anyway but if we have an event like Kickball we all come together. Just like we did at the TR bbq when we played and got kicked off the playground

Productive: We could invite Cronic to give a lecture on a Honda/Acura Tech matter. And invite other guest speakers.

Lastly: I agree the meet that went out to BMP was nice. My car ran a 20.something in the 1/4 mile and I am dayum proud!

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.

I was thinking of BMP too... it probly would be better than last time (and last time was a lot of fun!). Cooler teperatures mean less sweating... our cars will like the cooler air MUCH better than the hot humidity too, plus I live like 7 miles from the track
