swap question

Default swap question

what a/c and alt belt do you ise for a bseries swap in a EG. I ued the b series belts but theyu didn't work...also the d series doesn't work either

just take a piece of string and wrap it around the path of the belt then measure the length of the string and how many ribs are on the belt, then you can go to autozone, discount, or where ever with the length and rib count and they will find one to your specifications

damn it's about time you put a swap in your car bro.....should be able to use and b-series belt for both that's what i used!

I used a one from a Del Sol it worked for me. I running the D series compressor though

the belt might not work if he's using the stock a/c compressor the clutch is bigger and the belt might not fit...but the string or wire method will work

ok cool..thanks...yea i am using the stock compressor..the a/c belt from the d series motor works on the alternator...so now i need to find the a/c belt..i'll try the string method

Yeah, Belts are only different in 2 areas, Length and Number of Ribs...

Do the string method and you get the right length...Ask for the belt for the component you need it for and you count the ribs, then just get the belt with that number of ribs with the length of the string...
