nonsense, all you have to to is rip off all the panels of your car, replace them with cardboard, go to auto zone and buy 2 APC aluminum wings. 1 for the back and 1 for the front. mount them back wards and WHAT?! UPFORFCE!?! OMG!!! MORE WIEGHT IS GONE!!! then gather 4 spare donuts out of random cars, and chop the top and use a tarp for the roof. i think that about does it.

if you don't mind losing your spare, you can cut out your spare tire well and place a flat sheet of thin aluminum to cover it, saves about 5-10lbs depending on the thickness you use....

you can also skin the rear doors and seal them from the inside with pins, will save you another 5lbs plus more if you remove the power crap and un used wiring...also if you want to put your door panels back on then leave the mid window support and self tap the panel at the bottom though its very difficult it will work, i've seen it on two cars (an older neon and a ek civic)

if your willing you can go through your wiring harness and remove all the wiring for the opions your not using or don't have will save considerable weight depending on what your willing to sacrifice...

rear deck and seat support can be removed as well, just have to leave about 12 inches on each side and weld a small cross brace to retain the seat...

weld racing rims in black could pass as donuts and the weight saved there is pretty good depending on what your rolling on now...

other then those i would really suggest just carbon hood, trunk, mirrors, fenders and anything else you can replace with carbon...

I wouldn't cut any of the floor boards away without at least a roll bar tied into the the rear shock towers and floor board, a full cage would be even better but then you are adding weight. In my mind cutting the floor boards would be a safety and stiffness issue but I've never done it.
